We left early in the morning for Elizabeth City Town Dock. The water couldn't have been calmer, glad we waited to cross the sound in calm water.
What a nice welcome, volunteers come by the boat to see if you need a ride to the grocery store or anywhere else, they also have a welcoming wine and cheese party in the afternoon to any boater arriving in their town.
We enjoyed riding our bikes and walking around town in the daytime. In the evening we went to a movie and dinner at the local movie theatre. What a nice idea, you sit at a table in very comfy chairs and pick up the phone to order dinner, when dinner is over the movie starts.
