We travelled 60 miles up the Chesapeake Bay yesterday in 15 mph. winds. It was a little rough on the water with 4-5 foot waves. I was glad to get to Dozier Marina in Deltaville Virginia by 12:30pm.
The people are very nice here and had a wine and cheese party for all of the transient boaters. (get the picture of the social part of this trip?) Not a good trip for a "tea-toadler".
The weather looks like it will be windy for a few days so we may end up staying.
One of the local boaters here will give a talk to us this morning and give us lots of information about travelling on the Chesapeake Bay.
