Tarpon Springs !!

November 29th.

We left Carrabelle at 6:00 am. in the dark with hardly any wind to cross the Gulf. Had a great trip in 2 to 3 foot seas,with the occasional 4 footer. We ran into fog for a while and then things calmed down for the rest of the trip. It took us over 9 hours to get to Tarpon Springs, 178 statute miles. Had to add fuel from our cans part way there. We were glad to get off the boat and walk for a while. We all went out for a great Greek dinner and were early to bed.
