August 11th.
We travelled on about 10 miles to Detour Harbour and tied up for the night. The sky's looked threatening and there was storm warnings so nice to be in dock.
It is a lovely little village with lots to do and see.
It is interesting watching the freighters go by 100 yards off the dock. There is a ferry going from Detour over to Drummond Island as well.
We met some more "Loopers" here that we hadn't met before, so always lots to talk about with them. They are from Key West Florida so they had lots to tell us about the East coast. (not sure I'm ready for all that info yet !)
There was a live band here last night and they were pretty darn good. We enjoyed music 'till 11:00pm., then lights out !
