Soloman Island, Maryland

Friday May 30th., 2008
We left Onancock Virginia at 6:00am. to cross the Chesapeake again to the Western side. Passed Smith Island on the way, a little island in the Chesapeake that is only accessible by boat. A quiet little fishing village. You can see all of the crab pots lined up and ready to go.
Got into Soloman Island Maryland about 10:30am. This is a very nice town with lots to see. There is another Marine Museum here and lots of restaurants on the waterfront.
Another cold front is coming through this weekend so I think we will stay for a couple of days.
