We took the fifty cent ferry ride across the river to Norfolk in the morning. There was a festival going on over there and we could hear the music from the Portsmouth side.
There was a Memorial Day Parade and we were able to catch the very end of it.
Certainly lots of things to see and we had lunch and sat at the dock just "people watching" for a while.
