Today was an amazing day !! We are staying in a State Park with a living coral reef just a few miles out in the Atlantic. We left early in the morning on a 3 hour tour for snorkeling. This is a picture of the Captain of the boat, he is just explaining where we should go and what we can't do on the reef. There is no standing on the reef or touching the reef. We had an amazing time snorkeling. After a few mouthfuls of salt water, I got on to it really well. I was blown away by all of the fish and the colours. We saw the beautiful reef with the plants such bright colours and the fish in every size and shape just as colourful.
I was so proud of myself, a non-swimmer, out there just swimming around with everybody else. It was so much fun, I am glad I had the proper vest for doing this kind of thing, I think I'm really onto something here.
