We left Everglade City early in the dark. Forecast today is cloudy, windy and a storm later today. We went 103 miles to Marathon and it got a little choppy and rainy the last few miles got really choppy and windy, we just got tied up in Marathon when the skies opened up and it stormed bad. We heard on the radio that a tornado had touched down in Everglade City, right where we had been at the dock, one boat was badly damaged, no injurys.
Marathon is a lovely place although there is not much around the marina.
Michele and Ray, Ken and Peggy and us have enjoyed going out to dinner and watching the sunsets.
