We took a leisurely trip in the morning up the river for 7 miles to Everglade City. Here is the Rod and Gun Club of Everglade City. It was built in 1864 and is a beautiful building inside and out.
We are docked in front for a few days waiting for the winds to calm down so we can make our way to Marathon in the Keys.
