Kentucky Lake

Monday October 8th.
We left Barkley Lake and travelled through a canal to Kentucky Lake. The scenery was beautiful, but the weather was still 90 degrees and humid. All along the way we see dive boats. They dive here for muscles. The trees still haven't started to change color. It has been so hot and dry here that the trees look half dead. There isn't so much debris in the water now. We are sure missing the pool at the marina.
Went to a very nice marina and actually cooked a turkey dinner on the dock for Thanksgiving.
We shared it with American and Canadian friends. What a great time we had and when the sun went down it started to cool off a bit.
