Chicago Skyline

Thursday September 6th.

Well we are having a ball in Chicago. We have walked and walked downtown and all over.
Last night we went to Old Town Chicago for a great dinner and then went to see a live production of Second City, it was hilarious !
Today I shopped at Navy Pier again while Dave did some cleaning around the boat. We went for lunch at the Cultural Centre downtown and listened to a wonderful singer (didn't get her name)while we ate.
We took a long bus ride to the John Hancock building and went up to the 95th. floor for a drink and a great view of the city skyline. It was a little hard at first to get too close to the edge for me, but after a while I was able to take some pictures.
It is still quite humid today but the wind has picked up and we have had some rain. We hope to leave tomorrow to start down the river system, our first lock will be right here in downtown Chicago.
