Asian Carp No Joke on the Illinois River

Leaving Chicago we go over an electric fence that is put there to keep the Asian Carp out of the Great Lakes. They jump right out of the water and often land inside boats, and injuring people as they do. They become stimulated by an engine's vibration and leap well out of the water. The ones that end up in boats average eight to ten pounds. In a Fishing Tournament held on the Illinois River, 78 boats brought in 1,840 fish in three hours. The only gear they are aloud is hand-held dip nets and football helmets. This is getting to look like Red-neck country to me !
People here are afraid to ride their sea-doos and many of them are selling them.
