August 21st.
We left Charlevoix early this morning before the winds kicked-up. They were calling for 1-2 foot waves and winds from the south-east. A very nice ride to Leland Michigan for a fuel stop. We decided to keep going on to Frankfort Michigan for the night. The winds did get a little worse as we went but all in all a good run for 70 miles.
Frankfort Michigan is a lovely little town with the most salmon fishermen we have seen. They are everywhere and catching lots.
We went out for a nice dinner on the waterfront and overlooking the marina. Went for a long walk around town this evening.
