Family Bon Voyage Party

What a great time we had with the kids and grandchildren on the weekend. We won't see them all again until Christmas so it was a little hard to say good-bye. They all wished us well and safe travels and we where on our way. Got away from the dock at 10:30 and the wind on Lake Simcoe was about 10 to 15 knots from the North West. Just a little choppy and boy was it cold, the captain actually had a blanket on his legs.
The Port of Orillia was a very busy place. The docks where full and it was a good thing we had reservations. The fireworks where amazing and went on for about 40 minutes. Met up with some friends on the dock and had a great time. All in all it was a wonderful full first day. Just hope to see the weather get a little warmer for the next while.
Had a relaxing day around town, found a hot spot for the computer at the waters edge and was able to do some e-mailing.
Just going to hang around here (and hit the wool shop), for a few days. We are waiting for Gail and John on "Our Time" to get here on Wednesday. They will be travelling the "loop" also.
